Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

The Canadian Heart Association’s ACLS education programs integrate the BLS skills with the advanced knowledge needed to participate in or manage a resuscitation event effectively.

The program emphasizes the importance of preventing cardiac arrest, early and continuous, high-quality CPR, and high-performing teams.

The course reflects science and education from the 2020 International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) Guidelines for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).
