Who Can Attend The Airway Secrets Program?

• The Canadian Heart Association’s Airway Secrets For Dental Professionals program is designed for Dentists & Healthcare Professionals who work in a Dental Environment. This can include but is not limited to Dentists, Dental Assistants,  Dental Hygienists, Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and others who need to apply the knowledge and skills necessary to assess & manage a patient’s airway with equipment commonly found in a dental environment. 

Will I Receive A Textbook For The Airway Secrets Program?

• You will not be mailed a textbook. Shortly after you register, you will receive an email with the pre-course material. You can print this material if you would prefer a hard copy.

Do I Need To Purchase A Textbook For The Airway Secrets Program?

• No, you do not need to purchase a textbook for this program.

Do I Need To Complete A Pretest For The Airway Secrets Program?

• No, you do not need to complete a pretest before this Airway Secrets program.

What Certificates Will I Earn At The End Of The Airway Secrets Program?

• The Canadian Heart Association BLS Provider Certificate, valid for one year.
• The Canadian Heart Association Airway Secrets – Dental Edition Certificate, valid for two years.

Will I Earn Continuing Education Credits For Attending This Program?

• Yes. CE Credits are Determined by the Alberta Dental Association & College.
