Where Will This Program Be Held?
  • Zoom Session One – June 13, 2022 (5:30 pm to 9:00 pm)
  • Zoom Session Two – June 20, 2022 (5:30 pm to 9:00 pm)
  • Classroom Session – June 28, 2022 (5:00pm to 10:00 pm) – (Location TBD)
 
Is There An In-Class Session Needed For This Program?
  • Yes – June 20, 2022 (Location TBD)
 
Do I Have To Attend The Program Live?
  • Yes, you will have to attend the live session. There will not be a recording. The live session is interactive and you will need to attend for the entire time.
 
What Equipment Will I Need To Attend The Program? 
  • This program will be offered using zoom. We recommend that you attend the program from a computer, not your smartphone. This will give you the best experience.
 
Do I Need To Have A Valid BLS Certificate To Attend These Programs?
  • You DO NOT need to have a valid BLS Certificate to attend these  Education Programs. You will receive a BLS Certificate at the end of the program.
 
Will I Receive A Textbook For This These Programs?
  • You will not be mailed a Textbook. Shortly after you register, you will receive an email with the pre-course material. You can print this material if you would prefer a hard-copy.
 
Do I Need To Purchase A Textbook For This ACLS Program?
  • No, you do not need to purchase a textbook for this program.
 
Do I Need To Complete A Pretest For This Program?
  • No-Pretest for the BLS-ACLS-PALS Portion of the Programs.
  • Prior to attending the In-Class Portion of the Neonatal Resuscitation Program, you will be required to review the current NRP Textbook and complete an online examination. (There is a charge to take the exam that is not covered in the course fees.) Please bring a copy of the online certificate to the in-class portion of the program.
 
What Certificates Will I Earn At The End Of The ACLS Program?
  • Canadian Heart Association – Basic Life Support (Valid For 1-Year)
  • Canadian Heart Association – ACLS Provider Certificate (Valid For 2-Years)
  • Canadian Heart Association – PALS Provider Certificate (Valid For 2-Years)
  • The Neonatal Resuscitation Program certificate issued by the Canadian Paediatric Society. 
 
Will I Earn Continuing Education Credits For Attending This Program?
  • The short answer is yes. Each individual regulatory body will have different rules that they will apply to Resuscitation Certification. Please contact your regulatory body for more details.
