Where Will This Program Be Held?

This is a virtual (online) PALS Program. You can attend from anywhere you have a good internet connection.

Is There An In-Class Session Needed For This Program?

No, you will NOT need to attend an in-class session to earn your vPALS Certificate. This program is 100% percent virtual (online).

Do I Have To Attend The Program Live?

Yes, you will have to attend the live session. There will not be a recording. The live session is interactive and you will need to attend for the entire time.

What Equipment Will I Need To Attend The Program?

This program will be offered using zoom. We recommend that you attend the program from a computer, not your smartphone. This will give you the best experience.

Do I Need To Have A Valid BLS Certificate To Attend This PALS Program?

You DO NOT need to have a valid BLS Certificate to attend this PALS Education Program.

Will I Receive A Textbook For This PALS Program?

You will not be mailed a Textbook. Shortly after you register, you will receive an email with the pre-course material. You can print this material if you would prefer a hard-copy.

Do I Need To Purchase A Textbook For This PALS Program?

No, you do not need to purchase a textbook for this program.

Do I Need To Complete A Pretest For This PALS Program?

No, you do not need to complete a pretest before this PALS program.

What Certificates Will I Earn At The End Of The PALS Program?

Canadian Heart Association – virtual PALS Provider Certificate (Valid For 2-Years)

Will I Earn Continuing Education Credits For Attending This Program?

The short answer is yes. Each individual regulatory body will have different rules that they will apply to PALS Certification. Please contact your regulatory body for more details.
